Let Me Be the MAP of your Artistic Creations
Hello, my name is Molly Pekar(MAP are my initials) and I am happy to present my first website to show my artwork. I am a graduate from the University of Wisconsin Parkside with a degree in Studio Art. There are many concentrations that I have been exploring such as photography/ digital art, drawing, ceramics and painting/illustration. I am also, finding an interest in creating art with old objects from thrift stores and rummage sales- I hope to have a section of that on my website soon. When I first began viewing artwork, I only considered how beautiful the art was. After studying in greater detail, I realized how art can appeal to people on many different levels. No matter where I am or what I do, I always try to find a piece that speaks to me, even if I might not know how exactly it is. Most of my pieces focus on some sort of nostalgia from my lifetime.
